Eric William Hodson

1st February 1936 to 2nd February 2024

Our beloved husband, dad, grandad, uncle, friend passed away peacefully with all his family by his side on Friday, 2nd February 2024. He was 88 years old and will be missed by all who loved and knew him. He was a loyal and loving husband to Ros, a doting and attentive Dad to Ian, Chris and Tim, a wonderful father-in-law to Ellie, Asli and Ali, and a cherished grandad to Alex, Grace, Lottie, Oliver, Ayla, Susan and Alastair and step-grandad to Harry and Daniel.

A celebration of Eric’s life will take place on Monday, 26th February at 12.30pm at St John the Baptist Church, Keynsham (BS31 2BL). Dress is smart casual, and his immediate family are arranging flowers. Donations, if desired, can be made towards Parkinson’s research via the Parkinson’s website.

There will be light refreshments afterwards at the Chocolate Quarter Retirement Village (BS31 2GJ) where all are welcome. For catering purposes, we would appreciate it if you could kindly let Ali know whether you are planning to attend. Thank you.
